too much

I made nasi ayam for dinner today. Put too much water and the nasi became lembik a bit. Spoil! But shasa ate it nonetheless, so sweet k my housemate hehe. This ramadhan, we've been cooking almost everyday. i don't have pictures of the food, tak sempat nak ambik gambar when you are so hungry and all you want to do is devour the food. We've made ayam masak lemak, ayam masak merah, roast lamb with mashed potatoes, pasta with salmon cream sauce (curik recipe faezah), ayam black pepper. I can see a trend here, lots of chicken. We should probably think of adding other meat to the menu hehe.

The fiance was here this weekend, so we took the opportunity to finish our hantaran shopping. Managed to get his watch and shoes. That leaves the wallet and belt, which I was thinking of getting at the airport next month when I go home.

We went into every shop imaginable to find his shoes. Can't believe how picky he is! hehe banyak songeh k. Finally found a pair that we both liked. He was so happy. We went home and he was trying it on, and then he realised that one was a size 7.5, and the other a size 8! Haiyooo. He was so angry with himself, couldn't believe he didn't check before paying, but you would've thought Gucci would check before putting it in the box?!?  So next week, I have to go exchange it for the right size. Drama gila.

Today was a bank holiday. I spent the day doing laundry, watching movies, and catching up on my beauty sleep. Dreading to go to work tomorrow, sigh.

Big shout out to baby Aaron - hope you get well soon boy!

  1. I don't know what is it with trying to find nice men's shoes. It's like the most impossible thing to do! After countless of time going places Azmir finally found one he liked last week :P

  2. I thought I was the only one going through the nightmare of men's shoes shopping! He's been looking since June ok. But so glad that it's now sorted, well almost, assuming I get to exchange it for the right size.

  3. In my defence, there was really no pair of shoes that could catch our eyes. Plus, Mimi's helpless when it comes to choosing shoes - she thinks they all look the same! :P
