I just went through 2 weeks of hell. 2 weeks of being stuck in Westport for group reporting. 2 weeks of maximum stress levels. 2 weeks of no chicken or beef since there's no halal food in Westport (okok slightly off topic now).
We finally reported on Friday, and I felt the weight being lifted off my shoulders. It's not over until the partner signs off that inter-office opinion and the email is sent off. Suddenly, it didn't feel too bad. We reported on time and all was well.
We all went back home and I told my husband what happened. And then he tells me what happened at his job. How many sick people they have, how many lives he is helping to save. And I think to myself, what was I getting all worked up for?
