Dublin has been hit by severe rain during the past 24 hours. The picture above is of the ground floor of Dundrum Shopping Centre, which had to be evacuated following rising water levels. In some areas of Dublin, the water level was up to the knee! I made the wise decision of 'working from home' yesterday so did not have to go through the nightmare of commuting back home from the office. It took some people 2 hours to get home last night, when their normal journey would have only taken 30 minutes. Nightmare!
Today seems like a better day. The sun is out, and the rain has stopped. Let's hope this continues on for the rest of week :).
